Mmm… another massage today… We visited the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition, neat to see what Shanghai was and what their plans are for the expo etc. We also saw the museum, which had some interesting things. I think the last 3 out of 4 meals have been Japanese food, which is kind of funny. We are having McDonalds for dinner tonight, mainly because I want to be able to say I had Micky’D’s delivered to my place at least once in my life haha. We shopped a bit too. Pictures are NOT easy to do with the slow internet and huge images… but I am trying to get you guys 3 here…
Thanks for sharing the pictures with us Cody; sorry to hear the connections are slow and difficult.
It sounds like you are having a great time and will have many adventures and memories to share with us along the way.
I can’t image how cold it was on the Great Wall; but you all look well dressed for it and very happy to be there.
You make me want to go and see it for myself!
Not too hard to believe that you would go back for another massage, hard to believe that it is 13 days to the Olympics and that it is so mild here that I have seen about half a dozen mosquitoes flying around the font door. Mom and Mick are out with Sawyer on the dike in Abbotsford, a nice straight and flat path without too much to distract him or places for him to go boonie bashing.
Early Canucks game tonight in the center of the universe, 4:00 our time. I’ll post you the score after the game unless there are good reasons to give you partial scores.
Awesome pictures, the resolution, focus and depth of field… they look fantastic on the big screen. Appreciate all the posts.
Love ya Dad!
AMAZING pictures…The Great Wall photos are breathtaking…and you managed shots without anyone else in it. The one with you and Amy is fabulous. I was totally captivated, with so much to look at…from the wall (bricks and mortar) to the hills in the background. Not to mention the healthy good looking kids . Looks like there are some form of stairs or terracing on the hill over Amy’s shoulder and a small building on top of the hill. What are in the building surrounding the area? Then Tienanmen Square…do you think if I showed it to my class they would be able to answer the question “What impresses you the most when you look at this picture?” with what was most notable to me? And the answer is…?
Ouch. 3-0 leafs at the end of the 1st.
they pulled Lou after 1
Raycroft had 7 shots halfway through the third
3 -3 6 to go
W00T WooT
5-3 Canucks
Take that Center of the Universe
Only you would come up with a title like Jackie Chan Eats Rice- it’s right up there with Fish don’t have ears. Have fun Cody!
