I just want to say thanks to everyone who is commenting. While I am not responding directly to them, I read them all and it makes me feel like writing this blog is actually a worth while way of communicating my travels to all of you back home. My Chinese is very basic… thank you, hello, one, i don’t understand, no, i don’t want, essentially all you need to get you into tourist attractions, order food, other simple pleasures. Thanks for the Canuck scores dad, and good luck with the fireworks Mom.
Last night we went out to dinner at a Japanese place of all places, and oh my god the food was amazing. It was all you can eat Teppinyaki, as well as all you can drink. I had soo much, but it was really just the right amount. Today we checked out the “tailor market” where they custom make your clothes for you, then we went to the “fake” market (aka the cheap market) where they sell knock-off everything. Some of it is pretty tempting, but i didn’t bite on anything there. After we went and got a blind massage, where you get a massage by a blind person. I loved it of course… a full hour for like 7 or so dollars.
Plans are dinner tonight, don’t really know where, but it will probably be yummy, and most likely a decent adventure again.
No problem with the Canucks scores, and I installed Wordpressso I can try to learn it. Got my Gravatar working as you can see. Sounds like an awesome meal. Is the FTP working for pictures yet or do I have to CHMod some of the Parent folders also?
I am thinking it IS working… i get an internal error, but it still shows up… the internet is slow and the pictures are huge to it is a very annoying process to work on it
Which folder are you uploading to so I can check it out if any thing has completed?
Also… maybe send a small text file to test if it is working.

Hey Opa Opa Opa! Glad you found my blog, and glad you were able to comment on it! I learn something new every day.
I have my first Computer Art class on Monday. I am feeling a little apprehensive but a lot positive.
Art is now over for the year. I posted some of my Grade 7 art work on my website under Gallery and still have to take pictures of the Starry Night assignment which turned out awesome.
I really love this blog…I didn’t get a chance to check in the morning but as soon as I got home I asked…”Did Cody put anything up on his blog”?
I love that you are getting to taste the asian cuisine and taking so much in. I have a lot of people letting me know of contacts for you if you need them. Remember Sarah McIntosh (she lived to the right of the Shypitka’s growing up and had the big dog Gena that stayed with us). Anyway, her younger sister owns a house in Thailand. Doesn’t sound like you need any help though…you guys have this traveling routine down pat.
Love ya, kid. Musha
Feel free to email me any contacts you want, I don’t know if we will use them, but it can’t hurt to have them.
Hey Code!!!
Markets are pretty cool- but I always have trouble with the crowds. Glad to hear that you are having fun. Things are quiet around here.
